Buying on the internet is wonderful, especially when your experience is positive! But, unfortunately, it does not always happen. I've been thinking about it so I decided to share my shopping experiences online, so you can have more information to decide to buy (or not) on a particular site. Today I will tell you a little bit about my purchase at L'Occitane.

I have been a customer of L'Occitane for more than 10 years in the physical stores, but 01 / 06 day was the first time I made a purchase through the brand's virtual store. I was pleased to realize that the site offers the same range of products available in stores and that prices are aligned (ie, nothing to buy cheaper for one and find out later that it was much cheaper for the other).

My order was authorized in the same day 01 / 06 (Friday) I made the purchase because I chose to pay on the credit card. On the ticket it may take up to 3 days to be cleared the payment. At the day 06 / 06 (Wednesday)I received an email notifying me that my box had already been collected by the carrier and day 09 / 06 (Saturday) I received another email telling me it was already on the delivery route. In a few hours I received my purchase at home.

The box does not come with the store name signaled outside. In particular, I find it great because it does not draw attention. Inside, on the other hand, it is all personalized. The products came protected with bubble wrap. In addition to the perfume I bought (Terre de Light), also came inside the box a sample do Divine Immortelle of 1,5ml, a welcome kit (35ml miniature of almond bath oil and 10g miniature of lavender hand cream), a gift envelope and a paper bag.

Considering that I made the purchase already on a Friday afternoon, I must consider that the delivery actually took 6 days to arrive. For one thing, I had free shipping (which was good!). But still, I thought it was a bit time-consuming. It may be that the truckers' strike has influenced the delivery a bit, but I can only remove this doubt in a future purchase.

Overall, I had a very positive experience: I won goodies, I received everything well packed, I did not have difficulty navigating the site or finding what I wanted and I was always notified by email of the status of my purchase. Congratulations, L'Occitane!
